The Abundance Formula

Your wealth isn't your money. Your wealth is who you are. - Bo Sanchez

I received this gift from Bo Sanchez' Truly Rich Club last Christmas . This book contains simple yet powerful steps to abundance. I'm applying these steps for years now and it's been blessing me and the people around me as well.
May this book bless you too. Prosper! =)

Sharing some of my fave quotes:
-Love is the most important thing in the world; and love demands that you be the best that you can be.

-By becoming all that you can be through the journey of earning more money, you grow more. And at the end of that journey, you can give more, not just your money, but yourself.

-Your wealth isn't your money. Your wealth is who you are.

-Be remarkable. Be phenomenal.

-A good business is not about money. It's about serving others. Business is about mission. Business is about blessing people. Business is about love.

-When you serve others with all your heart, life will find a way to repay you.

-At the end of the day, we remain humble before Him. Always ask the Owner how He wants you to use His wealth. And you will be at peace.

-Generosity will detach you from materialism.

-Support God's work of sharing His love to the world.

-Always be specific, not vague.

-Learn to enjoy simple things.

-Be defined by your relationship with God.

-At the end of the day, it's people who will make you happy.

-Spend your money on what truly matters.

-Prayer will keep you detached. Centered. At peace. Your attachment will be to the Giver, not to His gifts.

He showed up...

httpblogs.christianpost.com
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. -Psalm 46:1

"When was the time God showed up to me?", this question just popped up in my mind while listening to worship songs in the office.
I haven't written an entry here for quite sometime; so I'm sharing some of my reflections.

He showed up when...
- I almost gave up my faith seeing my friend in the hospital for so long.
- a co-servant told me, "Don't worry, we will take care of everything."
- a friend asked if I need a company.
- my sister immediately called to cheer me up.
- I spent a quite time alone.

The love month has ended, but His love won't.
Because God's love is constant... unfailing... and rescues.

Dancing in the Storm

"You can dance amidst life's storms because you know that you are not alone.
You are dancing with the best Choreographer who guides your every step
in the darkness and who is holding you close to His heart." - Maricel Pomares

It's raining. I thank God I'm home and on a vacation.
I just finished reading a wonderful book which I think deserves a review.

In this book, author shared her real-life's experiences and how she overcome the storms in her life. This was beautifully written. Simple, funny yet inspiring.
Every chapter has a graphical illustration and bible reference which I find very uplifting.

As I listened to the sounds of the dripping rain, I leaned my head on our sofa,
and simply thanked God for my storms.

Here are some of my favorite quotes:

-"No matter how small my action will be, in God's eyes, it will be the greatest."

-Sometimes when things look bleak, things don't always seem to be what they are. A blessing is always waiting. Believe that our God cares for all our needs. We must have faith that He will never abandon us.

-Sometimes, we just need to be helpless so that God can work in our life.

-If we are traversing a rough road, we think that the entire journey is equally rough as well to bear. Little do we know that it is only way for us to reach the beautiful life that God has long prepared for us.

-Just three little words, but you are going to spend the rest of your life growing to understand them, and the other three little words -- 'I Love you' -God (V. Arokiasamy)

-The will of God will never take you where the grace of God will not protect you. -Bo Sanchez

-God is the Master of the impossible, he can defy what the world thinks is impossible but we need to do our part, and it is to ask.

-Don't be afraid to try. Don't be afraid to get soaked in the rain. Try to test yourself amidst problems. I am sure that it will make your heart braver.

-When you have nothing left but God, then for the first time you become aware that God is enough. -Maude Roydan

-You can dance amidst life's storms because you know that you are not alone. You are dancing with the best Choreographer who guides your every step in the darkness and who is holding you close to His heart.

How to Be a Blessing Magnet

-And I believe God's love is the most powerful magic in the universe. p14

-Don't wait for something to happen before you become thankful. p18

-Wealth is measured by how thankful you are. p19

-Thank God in advance for what He will do. p23

-God won't do for you what you can do for yourself. If He did, you wouldn't grow. p61

-You have enough to start something small. And as God sees you faithful in small things, God will give you bigger things. p65

-Supernatural miracles are happening every single day. At the right time, divine interruptions happen.God shows up. And He says, "Here's provision. Here's equipment. Here are solutions to your problems. Because this is not just your work. This is our work. We're doing this together. This isn't just your wish. This is our wish. We're wishing this together. This isn't just your plan. This is our plan! p68

-If God wants you to do something, He'll make the right people walk into your life. He'll send the necessary raw materials. He'll arrange everything. p70

-Let the flow of abundance push you to where it wants you to go. Because where it wants you to go and where you want to go are one and the same destination. p71

-The cross, by itself, makes no sense. Good Friday, by itself, makes no sense. The death of Jesus, by itself, makes no sense. But if you put together the cross and the empty tomb, it makes total, complete, glorious sense. p76

-For your trial is temporary. It will come to an end. But God's love is permanent. It will last forever. p86

ILoveLife Retreat and a story of healing..

"Do not hide your wounds. Expose it to the One who can heal it. God the Wounded Healer understands what you feel." - Arun Gogna (Today Is Your Day)

"It's been 15 years that my father died. I still can't accept that he's gone. I miss him."
I was seated beside her(one of the attendees of ILoveLife Retreat whose name I'll not mention).
My heart was thrumping while listening to her. I felt her emptiness and longing.

"My father also died long time ago.", I told her.
"I was 8 years old when he was murdered. But because of God's grace, I was healed. And He never left me. Everytime you miss him, just pray to God. Tell Him to hug your father for you. You'll be ok."
I saw some tears about to fall from her eyes. I silently said a prayer for her.

On our way back after the retreat, while on the bus, I heared her testimony. I was even shocked that she mentioned my name. She said that there was something in my words and hug. She felt God's love and healing through me. I even joked to her that I couldn't remember what I said. One thing I know, it's Him.

Now I know why I didn't join the earlier batch. The delayed has a purpose. He chose the perfect date to spend time with me and to use me as an instrument for someone's healing. God is amazing! All glory to Him. =)

P.S. She's now attending the Feast with her beautiful smile and a peaceful heart.
